Position Guest Services Associate Apply
Job Overview

As Guest Services Associate, you will be part of Guest Services team, responsible for producing an exceptional guest experience for all guests while at Cedartree Hotel.

Employment Status: Full Time (non-exempt) or Part Time
Report to: General Manager
Job Description

1. Prepare and process guest check in and check out in a friendly, professional manner.
· Greet and welcome guests with a smile.
· Confirm guest information and rates and prepare key card.
· Explain key hotel and area information and invite guests to experience signature hotel amenities.
· Assign best daily room configuration based on incoming guest information.

2. Assist with all guest questions, requests, and claims in a positive and timely manner.
· Respond to in room guests through the tablet messaging system.
· Provide assistance to guest’s requests and complaints and log all information.
· Manage rental items such as irons and mobile chargers.
· Holds daily shift meetings to communicate special guest information and open guest requests to the next shift.

3.Maintain a clean and organized guest environment for a seamless guest experience
· Keep the front desk organized and free and clear of clutter.
· Set up and reset conference spaces before and after events.
· Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status and supplies inventory.
· Coordinate with administrative to procure stock of housekeeping supplies.
· Daily property walk to ensure operations of all public areas meet standards and report and take corrective actions as needed.

4. Completes all billing and payment tasks
· Check out customers’ gift shop purchases.
· Balance and close out registers at shift changes.
· Complete daily night audit of all sales and post to system.

5.Continuously improve Guest satisfaction based on Guest Reviews and Ratings
· Collect and review all on property guest reviews and surveys.
· Collect and review all guest reviews and ratings on digital platforms.
· Prepare weekly and monthly reports guest reviews and surveys.
· Collaborate with Reservations team to put forth and implement new ideas to continuously improve guest satisfaction.

6.Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Gain proficiency in all areas of operation and provide assistance where needed.

· High school diploma and or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
· Fluency in a second language is welcome
· No previous hotel experience required
· Social Media and SEO experience is welcome
